Do these count for anything? [1] [2] Not exactly official sources... Still, her fans notice things like her hair being dyed black (maybe to look more Japanese?) and being absent at concerts in Japan.

Fix the Summary

[edit]

The summary is HORRIBLY written.

Seriously, someone, for the love of god, atleast move it up to 10th grade quality?

Is anyone else ready to torch a theater when this movie comes out the first was soooooo bad. I think the first one was the worst movie i have ever seen and i'm not just saying that i really belive it was the worst movie ever, i have heard the japanesse one was way better but i don't know.Lesty 18:21, 9 August 2006 (UTC)\[reply]

  ****PLEASE FIX THE PAGE******

Could someone please erase the film summary and do it completely again because it really doesnt look cool, the words freaking out and so on are my examples of that. Thanks guys.

I just finished a complete rewrite of the summary. Hopefully there aren't any errors, I discussed anythign specific with my friend who saw the film with me. Also, in case anybody ever cares about these things, summaries of films should be written in present tense and probably shouldn't include the term "we see."

"worked together"?

[edit]

I know there's a source cited, but how exactly did Amber Tamblyn and Sarah Michelle Gellar "work together" on the Buffy episode? At no point did their two characters ever appear in the same scene. AT spent most of her time with Michelle Tractenberg's character, Buffy's sister. -PK9 18:13, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Flag for editing

[edit]

This page is in severe need of revising for proper style and word choice (makes frequent use of casual words and phrases that have no place in an encyclopedic article - "he sees his neighbors...bring in their kid...who has apparently gone crazy or something"). I have flagged it as an article in need of copyediting; contact me if you have any questions or comments. Finduilas 09

I would clean up this page, but unfortunality i havent't seen the movie yet becuase it's not out in Australia yet and i dont wanna edit anything that might spoil the movie for me, gladly the film is out thursday and by then i will have this page looking cleaner!

I cleaned it up as best I could, but I wasn't sure how detailed a summary of a film on Wiki should be. Feel free to edit what I did, but at least I tried to ditch most of the opinionated words and such. And apparently I spelled some things wrong, eek. Please fix those if you see them and don't berate me too much! 69.255.44.223 23:51, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Flop

[edit]

Should this movie be considered a flop due to its poor box office preformance

While not a blockbuster, $70M is FAR from a 'flop.' HammerFilmFan (talk) 11:46, 13 February 2011 (UTC) HammerFilmFan[reply]

Fix the summary again!

[edit]

The summary is just horrible written, a lot of it not true, such as the father did not cut the cat's throat, nor was he strangled by his wife's hair. Kris Classic 02:46, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here's an idea... why don't you fix the summary. I did what I could, but it's been a while since I watched the movies. Clearly, you are able to edit the talk page, so clearly you are able to edit the main article. AniMate 00:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No hope

[edit]

The old exorcist says that the spirits can't be stopped. Well, according to Wikipedia's entry on Japanese ghosts, they can. Following the proper rituals such as burial and resolving of the conflict that causes the ghosts to continue the haunting, they could be sent on to the afterlife. Why can't this be so in the summary of these films? Ratso 01:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this discussion board is meant as a place to discuess the article about the movie, not the movie itself. But since I'm first replying; that could be a problem that many of the bodies are gone. 193.217.193.92 23:00, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And the fact it's a film and not real. ArdClose (talk) 17:48, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

extra charactors?

[edit]

on the death list there are two charactors that didnt appear in the movie: sam and jess so i was wondering where they came from.

Trivia trivia

[edit]

"In the scene with were Vanessa cowers under the desk while her phone is ringing, after she stands up and answers the phone and hears the death rattle, she throws the phone onto the ground. There is a brief moment where the camera shows the phone on the floor. The phones display is illuminated even though the battery cover and battery have detached from the back of the phone. This scene occurs at 1:00:11. "

Is this really a valuable piece of trivia? The entry seems to denote that the fact the face of the phone was still illuminated was a mistake by the makers of the film. I'm pretty certain that the whole point was that it was still meant to be working and 'death rattling' dispite efforts to break it. ArdClose 17:59, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Thegrudge2image2.jpg

[edit]

Image:Thegrudge2image2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Abridged synopsis

[edit]

Although the first part of the synopsis in the article is correct about the three separate storylines, only the "Chicago" storyline is given in this article. Where are the other two storylines?? The majority of the synopsis is missing. The synopsis that is already there makes broken references to the other storylines, so they need to be added. --Wykypydya (talk) 04:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We have got the three schoolgirls plot - but still lacking the sister and the exorcist mother. -- Beardo (talk) 02:19, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The sister-exorcist mother plot was there before. Someone got it deleted. Please put it back! Neffyring (talk) 22:30, 14 July 2008 (UTC)neffyring[reply]
